Your logic on "rude" is flawed. El Paso contains one of the largest Army bases in the U.S. Military personnel curse a lot. Most of these people come from somewhere else. El Paso does not come close to being the one of the "rudest" cities in the world, but may be one of the most foul-mouthed. Perhaps you ought to rethink your logice before you espouse who is rude and who is not. If you want rude, then first you need to read the definition of rude and then build an index of factors that constitute rude. I don't think you are even in the ball park...

how can I build this project without connecting to the Internet? Is there a binary distribution? I tried to build it(./sbt) in another PC then copy it to the server , it still need to be built again....

Nice Work. I had a paper published in the international conference on data engineering ICDE 2012 that is concerned with building a location-aware recommender systems (LARS). An extended version has been accepted to appear in IEEE TKDE. I believe the ideas we have in our paper will be quite useful to implement in Foursquare.
